  20. Prepare 6 curry leaves (optional)

This tender, full-flavored tilapia with fragrant jasmine rice is absolutely to die for. Heat oil/ghee in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Once hot, add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cloves, peppercorns, and a pinch of asafetida. Sauté for a few seconds, and then add onions.

  5. Add chopped onion till golden brown then add green peas, potatoes, carrot, corn & tomatoes mix well cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Add dry spices like red chilli powder,turmeric powder & garam masala(optional) cook well then add paneer cubes & salt mix well & cook 5 minutes more.
  7. Add 2 cup soaked rice in cooker with 4 cup of water & 2 spoon butter(optional) or ghee.
  8. Mix well cover the lid of cooker & take 3 whistle in low flame.
  9. After 3 whistle off the flame wait for sometime & open the cooker mix rice well & serve along with curd or curd raita or salad.
  10. Done and ready to serve!
