  1. Prepare 6 Parsnips, peeled & cut into 2 inch pieces

  16. Prepare 1 Sour cream, to taste (optional)

Pour the beer over the ham. Pour the beer over the ham. Score the ham in a diagonal pattern. Place into a roasting pan (with roasting rack if possible) and pour the can of beer over the top of ham.

  1. Boil first 11 ingredients in a large stock pot. (Parsnips, Leeks, Celery, Onion, Garlic, Bacon Fat, Ham Stock, Beer, Red pepper flakes, salt, pepper & liquid smoke)

  10. Done and ready to serve!
