  3. Prepare 1/2 lb Cooked Ham
  4. Prepare 2 tbsp Butter or Margarine
  5. Take 1 packages Elbow Macaroni
  6. Prepare 8 oz Cottage Cheese
  7. Prepare 1 Salt to taste
  8. Use 1/2 cup Milk
  9. Prepare 1 Egg

Prepare ziti according to package directions. Whisk in flour until smooth and gradually add milk. Cook the rice according to package directions. Add pasta to pot and cook per package directions.

How to make:process Mom's Ham, Spinach & Macaroni Casserole:
  1. Serves 6
  2. Preheat oven 350°F
  3. Boil Macaroni until done
  4. Coat baking dish with butter or spray
  5. Add remaining butter to spinach & macaroni; mix well
  6. Add cheese, ham, cottage cheese, salt & pepper; mix well
  7. Beat milk & egg with fork & pour over macaroni mixture
  8. Mix until completly combined
  9. Spoon into baking dish
  10. Bake for 1 hour at 359°F

Heat ham in a skillet over medium heat with garlic. Once ham is warmed up, add spinach leaves. Cook until wilted (this will be about a minute, max.) Remove from heat and combine ham and spinach with pasta. Add Parmesan cheese and butter and toss gently. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well blended.
