  1. Wash and clean the cauliflower florets. I usually soak in boiling water for sometime so that they are little bit cooked. You can skip this if you want.
  2. For batter: Mix all purpose flour, corn starch, pepper, salt together, then add milk to it to make batter of dosa batter consistency.  I prefer using milk, you can even use water.
  3. Once the batter is done let it rest for 5 to 10 mins. Take oil in a kadai for frying. Now rinse the florets in the batter and put it in oil for frying. Once fried place them aside.
  4. For sauce: Take another kadai add olive oil to it (sesame oil is preferable since I didn't have it so used olive oil). Now add finely chopped ginger, garlic and green chilies and saute for few seconds.
  5. Next add sliced onions and again saute for few second, then add chopped spring onions, capsicum, carrot cut into fine julienne (you can skip capsicum and carrot, I have just put it as my little one hates, but in Manchurian it's hidden, hence she will have it). Let it cook for few minutes. Now add soy sauce, red chilly sauce and tomato ketchup and saute for few seconds. Now mix 1 tsp of corn starch in 2 tbsp of water.
