  15. Prepare 2 Cloves
  16. Prepare 2 Cardamom
  17. Use 1 cinnamon stick
  18. Prepare 5-6 black pepper
  19. Prepare 1/2 cumin seed
  20. Prepare as needed oil
  21. Prepare to taste Salt

Adjust the seasonings accordingly and mix well. Once done switch off the heat and serve warm. Making methi rice recipe: Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat. Then add ginger paste, garlic paste and chopped green chilies.

Step by step to cook Methi Tomato Rice:
  1. Heat oil in a non stick pan and add cumin seed,bay leaf, cinnamon stick,cloves,pepper,cardamom and stir few second
  2. Now add chopped ginger,garlic,chopped green chilli and stir it
  3. Now add chopped onions and saute for few minutes now add chopped tomato and cook on medium flame for a minute
  4. Now add cashew and stir it
  5. Now add turmeric,red chilli powder,coriander powder,roasted cumin powder and stir well
  6. Now add chopped methi leaves and mix well and add salt, kasuri methi and cook for 3-4 mins or till methi leaves are cooked
  7. Now add cooked rice and stir gently and cook for few minutes on low flame
  8. Methi Tomato Rice is ready
  9. Serve with curd or raita
  10. Done and ready to serve!
