  7. Add the water and powder mixture to the pot, mix for a few seconds, then place a lid over it and wait for the water to boil.
  8. Once the water has boiled, lower the heat to a low flame, and let it sit for ~20 minutes.
  9. Rice is done!
  10. Done and ready to serve!

Sprinkle carrots, scallions and sesame seeds on top with a squeeze of lemon juice. Complete your meal and add some color by tossing in vegetables. Slice carrots, pumpkins, or yams and toss in the water at the same time as the rice. Drain in a colander and set aside. Add the salt, stir, and then add the rinsed and drained rice.
