Ingredients and seasonings required for prepare

  6. Prepare 2-3 teaspoons Chilli Garlic Sauce OR Toban Djan (Chilli Bean Sauce)
  7. Use 1 teaspoon Toasted Sesame Seeds

In a small bowl, combine garlic, ginger, tahini, vinegars, soy sauce and sugar. Strain the oil and whisk into the dressing. Thinly slice Cucumber into a bowl. Add Salt and massage, then set aside for a while.

Step by step to make Shirataki, Cucumber & Wakame Ponzu Salad:
  1. Thinly slice Cucumber into a bowl. Add Salt and massage, then set aside for a while.
  2. Soak Dry Wakame in cold water until soft, and drain well.
  3. Drain Shirataki (Konjac Noodles). Cut into 5cm length. Cook in the boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain. Rinse under cold water and drain well.
  4. Combine Ponzu (OR Ponzu ingredients) and Chilli Garlic Sauce in a bowl. *You may wish to add some Sesame Oil.
  5. Squeeze the Cucumber to remove excess water, and add to the bowl. Squeeze the Wakame and Shirataki as well, then add to the bowl. Add Toasted Sesame Seeds and mix to combine.
  6. Done and ready to serve!

Soak Dry Wakame in cold water until soft, and drain well. Rinse under cold water and drain well. Combine Ponzu (OR Ponzu ingredients) and Chilli Garlic Sauce in a bowl. Transfer to a large bowl and add sliced cucumbers, scallions, and cilantro. They are grain-free, gluten-free and have little impact on blood sugar.
